Exhibitions and Tours: 2000

Maureen has put together a lovely art exhibition of the work she's produced as a part of the Kamchatka Grizzly Bear Project. It was on view at the Art Gallery of Calgary (formerly the Muttart Public Art Gallery) and is entitled Through the Eyes of the Bear and ran from March 2 until April 15, 2000. Maureen exhibited a travelling component of the exhibition to Slovenia, France and in mid-September it will be shown in Moscow.

In the spring of 2000, in one of those odd connections that can only happen on the internet, Maureen and Charlie headed off to Slovenia to exhibit Maureen's art and to
talk to farmers and politicians about the plight of grizzly bears in Slovenia.
